Port Orleans Celebrates Mardi Gras with the Magical Music of Disney Parade

It’s all blue skies and sunshine down by the Sassagoula River at Disney’s Port Orleans Resorts, where Mardi Gras is in full swing! Cast Members sketched, handcrafted, and decorated 11 golf carts-turned-floats in celebration of the fun-filled holiday.

Thanks to our amazing Cast Members, Disney’s Port Orleans Mardi Gras Parade has become an over a decade-long tradition that brings out the boldest and brightest creativity in our Cast. This year, Cast Members were inspired by the theme “The Magical Music of Disney” and brought all the fun to the Sassagoula River shore with parade floats as tall as Rapunzel’s tower, as magical as Genie’s lamp, and as loud as Animal’s drums.
